17 district councilors in Hong Kong have resigned from their position after the new requirements to take an oath swearing to pledge allegiance to the government. 8 of them are in jail for violating the #NSL from participating the Legco democratic primaries last year in july.

Source told he made the decision in Mid April. Wong is currently detained for #NSL47 case of conspiracy to subversion, and bearing another case of conspiracy to defraud election cost.
