@thenanistate@PYeerk Anyway I don’t want to yell at you via twitter for too long so I’ll end this on a point of common ground. Threads is a really great film and I’m happy it’s your pfp.
@thenanistate@PYeerk I think to suggest that Debra Wilson a very talented woman at what she does has a large number of the roles afforded to her because of DEI due to the death of a man which you unceremoniously labelled as a fentanyl addict may come of as insensitive.
@thenanistate@PYeerk Whilst obviously being less intense I think George Floyd’s position in some ways reflects that of the characters in the film. Due to this I would’ve thought you’d be a tad more sympathetic to him.
@thenanistate@PYeerk Firstly thank you for responding. I’ll try to clarify my point. I think why Threads is so great is because it places the characters into a position of extreme desperation and lets it play out it quite a primal way.
@PYeerk@thenanistate Mr Yeerk.p if I wanted your opinion I’d have asked for it. Besides I’m sure the thenanistate is a big boy, surely he can answer any questions or criticisms directed his way.
@thenanistate Threads as a film is about the effects of a horrible event(nuclear holocaust) on a marginalised community(working class). Can you not see the parallels?
@DarthF1sh@53gaDr3amca5t I think that's a very silly and slightly childish view to hold. In the case of world war 1 the conflict largely came about as an imperialist dick measuring contest. Would you be willing to die for that?
The live-action ‘99 NIGHTS IN THE FOREST’ movie - based on the Roblox game - is moving forward.
Sam Raimi is set to produce with Josh Cooley (‘Transformers One’) writing the script.

One of my less popular correct takes is that fraternities need to be eradicated from U.S. schools. A serious educational institution would not allow "binge drinking and assault club" to exist.
