On the 7th Sept there is a test of the National Emergency Alert System. Taxi and private hire drivers are required not to read or interact with any phone alerts while behind the wheel. The advice is to not attempt to check the alert until you are parked safely and legally.
Today we have launched our consultation on the new Draft Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Policy. The consultation is open for six weeks.

We’ve issued more than 2k fines for littering since August 🚯
To help our fight against waste crime we’ve increased our fine amounts✔️
💷Littering £500
💷Graffiti £500
💷Fly-tipping £1,000
#WarOnWaste
A Luton resident was fined £1,8k for dumping rubbish
If fly-tippers think they can get away with it they can think again 😡
We don't just pick up waste. We investigate contents, review CCTV, appeal on our Wall of Shame. This leads to prosecutions 🕵️
