@chiefmartec@Hyatt Did they suggest that to guarantee early check in, you should go ahead and book a room one night before you really needed it? I saw that when I was planning a trip to LA a few months ago. Don’t remember the hotel or chain.
@randomrecruiter Early in my career, my mgr-who I suspect saw a lot herself in me-told me I did not want to manage a large dept, that managing one or two would probably be fine, but after that, you become an adult babysitter. I love to help and be a good teammate, but I’m definitely an IC!
@Clagett With the free version I can only see a few profile viewers, send 5 personalized invites/mo and only DM those I’m already connected to but it works for me. Seems Premium is best for recruiters and sales reps. If you let it expire, they may send a special offer in a few months.
@realBrookNash As an introvert, “tell me about a time when … “ are the worst questions as they put the emphasis on me. And because past performance doesn’t predict future results; circumstances will not be the same. Better to ask how they would approach certain projects/challenges.
Thank you @lifehacker! I just mentioned to someone that I wanted “old Google” back. I’m already tired of scrolling thru all the AI gibberish to find what I’m actually looking for 😠
Don't like all the AI features that Google is stuffing into Search? Wish you could go back to the good old days of the 10 blue links? A new Google filter can make it so.

Surveys are annoying! Also annoying: an immediate “give us your email for a discount” request & the three emails a day that follow, the chat bot that keeps popping up and disrupting UX, the videos that are slow to load and/or automatically play w/ volume. I could go on and on …
Many senior executives are so focused on spreadsheets that they can't comprehend that annoying surveys are harming the company. https://t.co/UdproNyrhu
