My daughter, 10 months old, didn't sleep much today. As a result she almost fell asleep when I was feeding her. Putting her to bed turned her into a quirky monster again after a few seconds... are you tired or not, little lady!?

Our daughter ist two days old now! Tomorrow I'll bring both my wife and our little princess home from the hospital. So exciting!

It is 4 am. I'm sitting in front of the maternity ward for the third time in 24 hours. Thanks to covid I'm not allowed to stay while my wife is resting... good lord, this is horrible. Let's see if they send me away once again

Wifey - overly pregnant - was peeking into the kitchen while I was cooking. Apparently excited she asked:"It smells good. Is dinner ready?" - "No, only halfway done. It has to go into the oven for half an hour" - "No! It's smelling so good! It's got to be done already!"Oh boy ^^;

Got a new phone a few months back and didn't check on twitter ever since... not sure how active I'll be on here. We bought a house and the birth of our first child is due in the upcoming two weeks, so yeah. Things are getting busy!

@DHLPaket Darf ich dann den Verbesserungsvorschlag machen, dass das dann auch zu tun? Vom Prozess her ist es hier ja aktuell so, dass jemand an unsere Tür kommt, die Klingel ignoriert, eine Karte ausstellt und in den Briefkasten neben der Tür steckt. Den Weg sollte man sich dann sparen😉

@DHLPaket Seltsames Phänomen. Alle Pakete kommen an oder landen beim Nachbarn. Einzige Ausnahme: es wird von DHL geliefert. Dann finde ich nur eine Karte, dass ich nicht da war, obwohl wir im Homeoffice sind. Was kann denn da wohl los sein? Vor Ort war ja wohl jemand 🤔

Today I cooked one large serving of vegetable soup. It's chilly outside and a hot soup is lovely... But I miscalculated one thing: wifey dropped a "you know... You should cook more often. Every time you do it's really delicious!". I may have to cook more often from now on... 😅
