This whole kerfuffle on Genting Hong Kong only serves to deepen my animosity and disgust towards the banking industry. May Allah make my resolve to not enter into any contracts with the parasitic bank industry, forever firm.
Women asking the prophet ﷺ for fatwa is not the same as women getting into heated arguments with kuffar men online you fool.
No one says women aren't allowed to speak at all. This is such a dumb strawman from a supposedly smart man well-learned in discourse and philosophy.
Thread:
The claim that Muslim women cannot engage publicly online contradicts clear Prophetic precedent. In Sahih al-Bukhari 6228, a woman from Khath’am publicly sought a fatwa from the Prophet ﷺ during Hajj al-Wida’, asking if she could perform Hajj for her elderly father; he affirmed without reprimand. Similarly, Hind bint ‘Utba interjected boldly in the post-conquest bay’ah gathering (Bukhari 7161), questioning conditions and her husband’s conduct, met with patient guidance.
Asma bint Yazid spoke as women’s representative before companions, eloquently advocating their share in rewards; the Prophet ﷺ praised her. Al-Khansa’ recited poetry publicly in his presence, encouraged with “Hiya ya Khansa’!” (seerah sources). Women questioned him directly on Eid (Bukhari 304) and in teaching sessions (Bukhari 2658, 101), all without rebuke for purposeful discourse.
These sahih narrations establish that dignified, beneficial public speech by women for fatwa, advocacy, and education is modeled in the sunnah. Regarding Quran 33:33 and the instruction to “stay in your homes,” most scholars hold that this verse was specific to the Prophet’s wives. Even there, the qira’at of “waqar” from “qirna” emphasizes being in a state of peace and dignity rather than strict confinement. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, found her own exceptions through public scholarly engagement and other roles.
In our era, the maslaha (public interest) of female scholars, educators, and role models online is evident: guiding sisters, countering fitnah with knowledge, and fostering community resilience. Denying this deprives the ummah of half its potential. We cannot complain about feminism while restricting conservative women, thereby pushing them toward it.
Those issuing blanket prohibitions on women online must reflect: many lack formal ijaza or scholarly depth, and personal motivations such as competitiveness, cultural rigidity, or jealousy often eclipse textual balance. True fiqh prioritizes appropriate speech over erasure. Let Prophetic sunnah guide us over unqualified opinions.
To Salvage the statements of Jesus predicting his death and ressurection as being Historical, Christians must claim the disciples were “stupid” in their own words.
That’s the only way they can reconcile how they never expected his “death” to happen in these narratives.
@cucumbrl4@Blackbyil@AllahOverPowers Abd al-Muhsin al-Abbad wrote a book disparaging this sort of behaviour.
I don’t normally share translations of books, but you most definitely need to correct your methodology.

🧵 THREAD — The Ottoman Empire, Fakhrī Pāshā and Their Crimes Against the Prophetic City (al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah): An Ugly Legacy
The concept of a state’s legitimacy through its guardianship of the Two Sacred Sanctuaries emerged later in Islāmic history, during the struggle between the ʿAbbāsid state and the Fāṭimid state, which claimed descent from al-Ḥusayn b. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib.
During a time when the Ottoman state was in decline, they sought to preserve whatever remained—most importantly al-Madīnah al-Nabawiyyah, which, for them, represented the emblem of the legitimacy of the Ottoman Imāmah over the Muslims.

The upright conduct of the Saudi army during their 2nd entry into Makkah (1805)
• Domingo Badía, a Spanish explorer and eyewitness, described the Saudi army and what it did in Makkah at that time, saying:
❝It must be noted how well they conducted themselves, with order, harmony, and cohesion. This made it easy to control these vast multitudes of people. More than 2,000 women were mixed within this boundless throng, yet they caused not the slightest disorder. Although there were 40,000 or 50,000 rifles present, no more than a single gunshot was heard not far from me, and immediately a Wahhābī leader came rebuking the one who fired it, saying to him with sternness mixed with gentleness: “Why did you fire? Have we come here for war?”❞

Namun, jangan hanya berdoa untuk perkara keduniaan sahaja.

Awal-awal Zulhijjah, Arafah, Hari Raya Aidiladha dan hari-hari tasyrik ni raikan dan rayalah sungguh-sungguh.
Nak dapat musim panjang macam ni lagi bulan Ramadan nanti.
