@elcumster@AhhAhhdd@GunterFehlinger@vonderleyen Raqqa, eastern Deir el zor, southern Al hasakeh are a majority of “Rojava”’s population. Al hasakeh city is plurality Arab. Arabs come out to 70-80% of the region on the map, Kurds are only majorities in Kobane and areas of northeast Al hasakeh and POSSIBLY Qamishli(likely 40%~)
@levantophile@chitowngirl1982 My friend half of that neighbourhood is military housing that initially housed the Hama massacre perpetrators, and then the Darayya and Mouadamiyeh, who’s residents owned the land before it was stolen from them, massacres, the rest are slums built through corrupt Assad court orders
@lacymacauley A lot of non truths. I don’t know what I’d expect from a foreigner. But a lot of people who know nothing about Syria and have no involvement or knowledge of it will believe everything said here, so good for you for catering to your target audience.
@texan_777@lacymacauley Yes. Life is a lot worse in DAANES. It is not even close. Their best cities like qamishli are worse off than 2nd tier cities like Hama or Idlib. Worse electricity, worse water access and worse services as of now.
@USAMAMIZHER@Levant_24_ None of these are general security dummy.
GS=black uniforms, heavily armed police basically.
If you’re going to be stupid about something at least make sure the lie lasts longer than a glance
