Kwela invited me to be part of today's Kwela Scholar day for supported high school pupils identified for academic excellence, despite facing financial barriers from various places in Zambia. Thanks to @LauraMiti for the invite, but much more to the Kwela contributors who keep the dreams of these young lives from poor families alive.

About 50% of Zambians are poor. We observed that if intelligence is randomly distributed, then about half of Zambia’s young brains who should be taking our nation forward are in circumstances that won’t easily allow them realize their potential and make use of their intelligence. We’ve work to do, collectively to give these people a chance at life. Thanks Kwela! #Nodignityinpoverty
