Last night’s resounding victory — by nearly 30% and with over 5,000 votes — is a blessing beyond words. My heart is filled with gratitude to Almighty God for His unfailing grace, guidance, and faithfulness through this journey. And as with every day of my life and through every campaign we have run, deep gratitude goes to my incredible wife, Becky, and our amazing children — Brady, Charlotte, and Landry — for their unwavering love, patience, strength and support every step of the way.
To Team Leach — my tireless supporters, donors, prayer warriors, block walkers, staff and army of volunteers — thank you, sincerely. Your belief in our message and mission, your hard work, and your faith in the future of our great state inspired and fueled me. This victory belongs to each of you.
For over a year, I have faced a relentless assault of lies, attacks, and dishonesty — but truth and goodness prevailed. The wonderful people of House District 67 saw through the noise and nonsense and chose integrity, service, and results over division and deceit. For that I am grateful.
As we look ahead to the general election in November, we face a stark reality of the challenge before us. Now is the time to come together in unity with all Republicans and freedom-loving Texans who believe in the promise of the Lone Star State. To my team supporters — and even to those who supported my opponent — I ask that you dig deep to put differences behind us, to stand shoulder to shoulder with me and with each other, and to be laser-focused on the things that unite us: faith, family, freedom, and the bright future on the horizon for Texas.
Together, we will continue to fight for the values that make Texas strong, safe, and free. And with God’s help, I am confident we will win, ensuring the best days for Texas are still to come.
Again, thank you for helping me achieve and secure this amazing victory. May God bless each of you, and may God bless our beloved State of Texas.
Not A Rino,
Jeff Leach
Incredible speech, Speaker Burrows!
Haters hate.
Tweeters tweet.
Whiners whine.
But leaders lead. And that’s what you’re doing.
Proud of you and ready to unite and win!
The time for Republican infighting is over. The only fight that matters is the one ahead.
Today, I addressed the @TexasGOP Convention with delegates, grassroots leaders, party advocates, and conservatives from every corner of our state to deliver a message I believe is critical to the future of our movement.
I knew I might receive a mixed reception, but the stakes are too high to stay silent.
A bruising primary season is behind us. Now, our focus must be on November. Republicans have delivered historic victories for Texas, but our job is not finished. To keep Texas on the right track, we must come together, rally behind our nominees, and support the Republican ticket from top to bottom.
We are one party with one mission. Together, let’s defend our conservative values and keep Texas red.
Day 2 of the @TexasGOP Convention in Houston has been a blast! Thanks to all our Republican friends from home and from all across Texas for all you do to keep Texas strong and free! LET’S WIN! #txlege
Congrats to our new Texas GOP Chair D’Rinda Randall. We’ve known each other a long time — and I can say firsthand D’Rinda is one of the hardest working and steadfast Republicans in Texas. She will do a great job uniting us and leading us to victory in November and beyond!
Congratulations to @DrindaRandall and @CoveyTX on earning the nomination to serve as Chair and Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Texas.
Texas Republicans are energized and ready for the work ahead. As we prepare for November and beyond, I look forward to working together to strengthen our party and advance the conservative principles Texans value.
I also want to thank Chairman @abrahamgeorge on his service to the Republican Party and the State of Texas. His dedication and leadership have helped advance the conservative movement across Texas, and I am grateful for his contributions.
A beautiful evening with some of our dearest and best friends and fellow patriots at the @TexasGOP Convention in Houston. These folks are the best of the best — and it’s a true joy for us to get to do politics and policy and life with them. #txlege
Becky and I had a blast welcoming tons of fellow Collin County Republicans to Houston for the @TexasGOP Convention! The @CollinGOP is UNITED and READY for November! #txlege
Karmelo Anthony murdered Austin Metcalf. Period. End of story. There is no evidence to support any other verdict — and it should be and will be upheld on appeal.
Karmelo now must pay the price of his crime — 35 years in prison — eligible for parole after 17.5 years.
It’s not fun. It’s not pleasant. And no, it doesn’t make anyone happy — not least of which is Austin’s family, who will never get to see, touch, hug or talk to their son, brother and friend ever again.
And as sad as it is, the system worked. The sentence is right and the sentence is just.
After a jury finds Karmelo Anthony guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf, this woman asks: “What do you want us to do at this point? I got 5 boys… I ain’t got nothing to tell them no more…”
Here’s a very simple rule for you to teach your sons: “Don’t murder someone.”
Let’s start there and see where that gets us.
Handcrafted of the finest and richest mahogany.
But I deleted because animal abuse is a real thing — and the misery of this and other goats shouldn’t be scoffed at.
Last month Jeff said Mike
Olcott, Andy Hopper and Ken Paxton were “tea baggers”.
Today he’s talking about a patriot (@KyleBiedermann) having sex with goats.
Both posts have been deleted.
Something is going on with Jeff and it’s not a good thing.
A blast at @TexasMusicRevolution in Downtown McKinney. The pouring rain didn’t stop the great crowds and great music — including @ShaneSmithMusic & our West Texas friend @haydonwig! Well done, McKinney.
