#uklockdown how did the public not see this coming?
Furlough increased until March
Repeated nonsense from @BorisJohnson

#london#schools backtracking over the weekend
We are professionals treated like fools
@TeamTait Completely agree having decided to go with school cloud. Only thing we missed was the chance to dive into book looks for parents, there is still a need for a open evening if sorts but can be done prior to the remote parents 'evening'
@CensoredHead@educationgovuk We increased ours as I felt the children were missing out on everything else and need something to look forward to. So glad we did after yet another u-turn from the incompetent @educationgovuk
@primaryteachdh Go for something you can research, learn and discover throughout the year. Make your appraisal meaningful and engaging so that it motivates you rather than be something to 'achieve'
@MoreMorrow Whilst I would like for schools to remain open for the pupils to receive a full #education I cannot help feel that opening schools, which are the hub of most communities, is simply putting a 'lockdown' in jeopardy and won't make the impact it would if schools were to close
A really interesting and thought provoking read, now I need to think about how this applies to leadership in education! 🤔 #eos#ginowickman#tombouwer#education
I just signed the petition calling for an end to public money being used to subsidise MP's food. Add your name here: https://t.co/tJn0znilbg via @38_degrees
@CensoredHead Sustainable projects are still allowed, the rules changed to stop schools spending money on a path for the daily mile! Outdoor gym comes with a 25 year warranty so ticks the boxes, remember that the safety floor costs more than the equipment! We also bought a climbing wall.
@NiallAlcock Best thing about the NPQH for me was the time to reflect and network. 2nd placement was great for financial awareness but lacking in how to manage personalities or how to lead a new setting
@JonnyUttley @johntomsett@dylanwiliam So much to take away and use practically. I particularly like the real school examples included as graphics as excellent examples of practice.
Just finished this. Outstanding read and exactly the leader I aspire to be. Thanks @johntomsett @JonnyUttley for your insight. @dylanwiliam quote on the front is so true
@RogersHistory To think the children that excel in the arts and the confidence that would build across the curriculum has just been thrown away. #narrowingthecurriculum is wrong
