A new set of figures showing the scale of suspected illegal fox hunting and the havoc being inflicted on rural communities in Wales by fox hunts has been released today by national animal welfare charity the League Against Cruel Sports @LeagueACS https://t.co/Mbt9Kq3hax
“These figures show that fox hunts have an appalling disregard for the law & are chasing and killing foxes as they did before the ban & inflicting misery on rural communities. The time for change is now.” – Emma, Head of Campaigns.

Thank you @RuthJonesLabour for your ongoing support for greater wildlife protections, including a strengthening of the Hunting Act. #EndHunting
Ruth continues to be a tireless champion for animal welfare issues.🐾
It was great to have @Perran4CRH showing his support for strengthening the Hunting Act at our recent MP drop in session. Wildlife deserves better protection — and together, we can make it happen. 🐾#StrengthenTheHuntingAct#EndHunting
Thank you @JoeMorrisMP for pledging your support to #StrengthenTheHuntingAct .
Rural communities such as Hexham bear witness to the cruetly and destruction that hunts bring. We must end the smokescreen of trail hunting to protect animals and the countryside. #EndHunting
Thank you @SirRogerGale , sporting a @LeagueACS tie, for your support to #EndHunting
Sir Roger has long supported the campaign to end hunting, including during the passage of the original Hunting Act. Your support for tougher laws to close loopholes is appreciated.
Grateful to @NeilForPoole for signing our pledge to support a strengthening of the Hunting Act to end smokescreen of trail hunting. 💚🐾
Thanks for your ongoing support! #EndHunting
Thank you to @alexlmayer for hosting us in Parliament earlier this week to speak to MPs about the need to strengthen the Hunting Act.
The Hunting Act is not working and must be strengthened to protect wildlife. #EndHunting#TimeForChange
A big thank you to @RichardBurgon for backing our calls for a strengthened Hunting Act.
It is vital that we close loopholes and ban the smokescreen of trail hunting to protect our wildlife from persecution. 🐾 #EndHunting
Thank you @EllieChowns for pledging your support earlier this week to strengthening the Hunting Act.
Together, we can close loopholes and ban trail hunting to bring and end to hunting with dogs once and for all.

We need to stop animal cruelty. The previous Labour Govt rightly banned fox hunting, but we still see foxes being killed in the cruellest manner. We can have an alternative without the cruelty: we could end trail hunting and allow drag hunting, as the @LeagueACS has highlighted.
