@KatyWyszynski Katy! Its just like the wait between MCAT or Step/COMLEX score releases and you have made it through all of those. You got this - my advice is to plan a lot of fun distracting things. My friends and I spent rank list day together so we didn't accidentally make last min changes.
AAEM's President Dr. Jonathan Jones encourages #EmergencyMedicine, board certified physicians to own their future in EM through nominating themselves and/or others for the open spots on the AAEM Board of Directors.

HCA is the nation’s largest for-profit hospital chain.
It’s also the #1 sponsor of residency training programs in the U.S.
And HCA has **QUADRUPLED** the number of residents they train over the past decade.
(But yeah, tell me again how hospitals lose money training residents.)
Good-Bye Overnight Call, A #ProgramDirectorsNote to my @TradIMYale residents. @YaleIMed

@ScholerinED@KatyWyszynski we played drinking games at my house for first look... I hope the applicants had a good time, because this was a typical hang out for our residents
@HalstedMD@Yale_EM@aaeminfo@AAEMRSA@emresidents PPS - I hate this paper, and I want to be clear I am in no way defending the paper (which is why AAEM/RSA never adjusted our statements) I am clarifying timeline when this occurred over two years, I will openly condemn the use of the word resident and fellow for non-physicians
@HalstedMD@Yale_EM@aaeminfo@AAEMRSA@emresidents lastly - no educational opportunity is ever taken from residents (in fact PAs have gotten me for procedures in fast track I otherwise would not have picked up) my PD is firm on that and we are never supervised by NPPs (even off service). This is something ALL programs should do.
