Happy Bike to Work Day! ๐ฒ
#MassDOT employees in #Boston joined in on todayโs events. Thank you to @MBTA team members who were onsite to show riders how to put a bike on a bus.
@noisecapella@PetruSofio@ian_wickersham@cambbikesafety @Purple_Bandanna Looks like John Leone voted no on that particular one. And Paul Schlictman. Was there any reason that a bike-friendly person would have to vote no?
@BostonBikeData@inLIUofJOAN Generally, I have the option of Broadway or Assembly to avoid Route 28. I always pick Assembly so I am always sticking to that side of the bridge.
@BostonBikeData@inLIUofJOAN I am one data point and I use the sidewalk going Medford>Somerville and the bike lane going Somerville>Medford because I am too lazy to cross the street
It is a radio station! We have an announcer person! Back to Basics radio? Weโll continue tomorrow with more study of Genesis apparently. Anyway, I will be late to work, we just left Sullivan.
Okay maybe itโs a podcast? Thereโs no commercials. Anyway, the disembodied voice is telling us about water dinosaurs that were created on the fifth day and lived alongside man.
@bikepedantic If helping tourists get around by bike would make the FOMO better (worse?), I am looking for advice on biking from Tenleytown to Franklin Park. Never biked in DC before
@Chre1s Almost everyone doesnโt take that first flight home. Our trip had a second flight about two weeks later and some people didnโt even take that. Stay longer and enjoy Europe without schoolwork! Itโs fun, but Furth gives a lot of work too
@kenjimallon I assume the reality is somewhere in between? I'd believe that they can't do whatever they want, but I doubt traffic calming is totally out of the question, and I really doubt the state cares about the parking
@PetruSofio Because I feel like being petty today, I will point out that she edited that message after sending it and itโs still a grammatical clusterfuck
