LeanCOO is live on Product Hunt today ๐
The AI back office for solo founders & small B2B teams.
AI drafts your quotes, contracts & invoices in ~30s โ then stops. Nothing sends until you approve.
If this solves a pain you know, a little support today means a lot.
anyone else apply to the #Claude for startups program? the acceptance email came yesterday.
A year of claude with a bit more room to breathe.
if you run a startup and have not applied yet, it is still taking applications...

@liutauras_liu two leads and two closes is a conversion rate the sales books say is not allowed. did both start in the dms, or did one come from a reply under a post?
@Ananyaa_VA the nephew is always available, always $50, and somehow never the one who ends up doing the work. does the $2,000 client also send fewer messages, or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
@i_mika_el three weeks is about how long it takes to learn the cheaper option still needs someone to tell it what to do. did they get their old slot back, or did they have to wait in line?
@richiemcilroy korean here, living in korea. you're not missing anything, we're just bad at telling people about it.
if questions come up while you're here, ask me anytime and i'll answer in as much detail as you want. which city are you in? Seoul?
@irinatoxi hours were only ever the unit because nothing else was easy to count. now the estimate with an hours column is the awkward document in the room. do you already quote per scene, or does yours still say how long it took?
@HakimYousuf if they picked the number themselves, they have already done the math on you, which beats you doing it for them. what happens to videos they do not use in a month, do they roll over or disappear at midnight like gym visits?
@adriankuleszo the emailed pdf is always called final_v3_real and the whatsapp feedback is a voice note recorded in a car. outside the bubble that is the workflow, and it mostly works. do you move their feedback into your own tool by hand, or has a client ever agreed to switch channels?
@abonyi_maryann@Uptiveagency that was exactly the question, so the plot twist stands. an email marketer whose course got sold in the dms is the best ad for dms i have seen this week. when it goes live, does the email list finally get its turn, or do the dm people get the first seats?
@atsvisuals_ she tried ai, then a designer, and the one who got it right was the one who sat through the voicenotes. no tool lists that as a feature yet. for the retainer, are you pricing it by designs per month, or one flat fee whatever she sends?
@nicktheriot_ pure cash is the expensive way to do it and the only one they will remember kindly. a credit note says please come back, cash says we mean it. has any of the refunded clients hinted at returning once the team settles, or was it a clean goodbye?
@werriskneebone seventeen lift plans got crickets and one invoice got a phone call inside three hours, so at least you know which document he reads. did he end up agreeing to the rate on the contract, or is that a monday problem now?
@nickisanders apple at least shows you a status that says in review. accounts payable has no status page, just a person who is chasing it internally. are the app and the invoice for the same client, or are two different people doing this to you?
@Zmeinir budgeting the good months to cover the thin ones means you already run a finance department of one, and probably the only one that pays on time. when a project does start, is it the full fee up front, or half then half on delivery?
@freeconlon charging a little for it is the right call, free courses get bookmarked and cheap ones get watched. when one of them comes back at 2m, does the course fee come off the first retainer invoice, or is it just the ticket in?
