They do not need everyone, or even the majority, to be taking part before governments start to take note. Thank goodness. Desperate times.

It means members can do what they think is needed/necessary to force governments to tell the truth & act now. There are also benefits to XR having ‘no boss’

@katebevan @MikeHobsonEsq I’m not going to pretend I know how the entire London transport system works & what is possible. However, no solutions will be found until government accept there is a problem. Plus, businesses need to catch up with remote working. SO MUCH business travel is unnecessary.

@Kevj365 In a poll, 88% of XR members opposed this action. The protestors involved chose to go ahead. I do not condone this action but believe the point was to affect business, because only money talks where government is concerned, and because the tube is not actually that ‘green’
