🏦 The average amount borrowers owe on their student loans ranges from $29.4K in North Dakota to $45.0K in Maryland (DC comes in as the highest at $56.5K).

🏦 The average age of borrowers is getting older — the amount owed by borrowers aged 50+ more than doubled between FY 2018 Q1 and FY 2026 Q1.

🏦 $17.9 million in student loans are currently in repayment, the most of any loan status.
