Today, the Supreme Court of Virginia put a stop to an unlawful, partisan power grab. The scheme pushed by Governor Spanberger and her General Assembly allies was designed to impose a Northern Virginia–driven 10–1 congressional map … 🧵
🚨Even after a violent illegal immigrant is accused of murdering a Virginia mother at a bus stop in Fairfax County, the nine Democrats on the Board of Supervisors refused to second a motion brought forward by Republican Supervisor Pat Herrity to revisit their so called Trust Policy, which bans Fairfax County police from telling ICE about violent illegal immigrants in the county like Stephanie Minter’s accused killer.
Democrat Supervisor Rodney Lusk signed onto Herrity’s motion ahead of the meeting, but surprisingly didn’t second the motion to even have a discussion about the "Trust Policy." Herrity’s motion died for the lack of a second.
I asked Lusk if Chair Jeff McKay threatened him / somehow got him to back down from supporting Herrity's motion. Waiting to hear back from Lusk. McKay is known for bullying other Democratic board members and treating the Trust Policy as his "baby."
Video is from last week’s meeting ⬇️
Democrats vote AGAINST car tax relief & ending the grocery tax, but FOR public sector collective bargaining, & for adding a carbon tax to your electricity bill.
Worse, every Democrat voted to nearly triple their own salary.
Affordability is a hell of a thing, isn’t it?
A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.
This amendment has nothing to do with fairness. If approved Virginia’s 11 congressional districts will be gerrymander to a democratic stronghold of 10-1. Rockingham County will be split into 3 separate districts- each tied to NOVA.

🚨 BREAKING: VA Circuit Court judge rules that the passage of the Dems Partisan Gerrymandering Amendment by the GA 4 days before the election in Nov violated the clear and unambiguous notice requirements of law. The court entered an injunction prohibiting the April 21 referendum.
White smoke! The 133 Cardinal electors gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have elected the new Pope. He will appear soon at the central window of St. Peter’s Basilica.
Congratulations to my friend, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, on becoming our Republican nominee for the office of Governor of Virginia! As the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, a marine, and the first Black woman to hold statewide elected office in Virginia, Lieutenant Governor Sears’ story exhibits the future and the opportunities that Republicans strive to provide to Virginians and all Americans. I can think of no better person to carry the mantle for Virginia Republicans in 2025, and I look forward to working with her to continue commonsense, conservative leadership that benefits hard-working Virginians.
