3 Unmarked vehicles claiming to be SAPS raided a security estate complex last night, close to 9 PM, claiming to effect an arrest on a resident who does not live there.

When the residents came out to see what the commotion was about, the chairman of the estate requested to see appointment cards to identify the "officers" as legitimate SAPS.

At this point, the group of 7 men started donning SAPS POLICE vests, yet the chairman insisted on seeing appointment cards even after the owner of the house they targeted came out to identify himself and stated he had lived there for many years, and there was no one there by that name. The men attempted to order the chairman out of his vehicle, but he refused without showing appointment cards and called the situation in to local private structures.

When none of them could provide appointment cards, and the person they were looking for was a name unknown to the residents of the complex, the community asked them to leave.

The "officers" dispersed.

This only once again shows the lack of trust communities have in the SAPS, with all the impersonation going on, but it is an even larger failure on behalf of the SAPS, if that is who they said they were.

SAPS is obligated to carry their appointment cards and needs to be able to identify themselves.

Well done to the community who stood their ground, knew the law, and their rights.

My twin kids who are 8years old were involved in accident, they fell off into a lift shaft from 4th floor to the basement, the faulty lift doors were not locked, my son died, my daughter survived and she in ICU fightingfo her life.

Homii Flat management does not care at all!
No one has visited me and my wife, I had to go my self to the security office to demand footage and they refused with it.

They only give me a grocery bag and teddy bear which I refused!

I need justice for my children.”
