THE GWOT SHOWER TRAILER: WHERE CLEANLINESS WAS A COMBAT SPORT

GWOT veterans know there was absolutely NO GUARANTEE that taking a shower would improve their situation.

You grabbed your towel, shower shoes, and weapon and headed over, knowing you were about to roll the dice:

🚿 Option 1: Hot water.
You hit the deployment lottery. Don’t tell anybody.

🥶 Option 2: Water straight from an Afghan mountain glacier somehow.

🔥 Option 3: Approximately 900°F.
There was no “warm.” You just kept moving in and out of the stream like you were clearing a room.

💀 Option 4: The shower shocked you. Nothing wakes you up like grabbing the metal faucet and getting 110 volts of freedom through your naked body.

🚫 Option 5: No water.
Of course, you discovered this AFTER getting completely naked.

🟤 Option 6: The water came out a color that water absolutely should not be.

And depending on where you were…

You might be walking 200 meters to the shower wearing:

🩳 PT shorts
🩴 Shower shoes
🪖 Body armor
🔫 Rifle
🧴 Shampoo
