It is with sadness that D and J and family announce the death of their beloved friend, Sparky, at the age of 23.

He passed away peacefully this morning at home, after many many travels and visits, spreading joy and love to all whom he was known to.

@kerrylalameow Mum felt guilty about having to nudge him awake because her legs went to sleep! Apparently Jasper won't even sit on his owner's lap, so Mum is very touched that he felt safe enough to sleep on her

Jasper from next-door is really timid around humans, and likes to keep his own personal space, even during pets. Today, he walked right up to Mum and fell asleep on her lap! Mum was very surprised! #CatsOfTwitter #Caturday

The tabby cat in the photo above is Jasper from next-door. You might remember him as Sparky's old "nemesisis" 😂 if there's food, you can guarantee this kitty will show up!

He is also very well fed and much loved by my next door neighbour.
