I figured I would start occasionally posting some of my artwork here.
This one was a still life, painted several years ago (oil on canvas). It’s special to me because it was my first serious attempt at oil painting. I never really gave it a title; I just call it “mask painting”, and I gave it to my mother as a gift.

It screws over everyone working towards funding their own retirement, and somehow you are trying to justify it.

Both obviously in the wrong, but the armed robber deserves no sympathy.
Pull a gun on someone, directly threatening their life, and the ultimate potential consequence is death (if someone justifiably retaliates in self defence), so he got off lightly.

@goodfoodgal It’s insane that there is no minimum IQ requirement for serving in Government/Parliament in Australia.

Working to build wealth is a sensible thing that everyone should be doing, and the government has now just made it a great deal harder for everyone.

When you buy shares in a company that you love, whose products and services you use, notice the mental shift where you go from “consumer” to “owner”.

I was reflecting on this just now (now that I’m a $SPCX shareholder), knowing that all the haters melting down over Elon’s success are in fact helping the company by posting here on X.

So I’d like to raise my glass of leftard tears, thank the haters for their service, and congratulate Elon, SpaceX and all shareholders on a glorious day!

I just tried it in a text message field (because it’s messed up if this is true) and it didn’t capitalise either “black people” or “white people”.

Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian all get capitalised.

@HistorianUSA1 Lucky that her scooter happened to die right where there happened to be an electrical outlet reachable from the sidewalk.
The restaurant owner noticed her, talked to her, called the cops, and the cops showed up, all in the “couple of minutes” that she planned to stay.

@WildSentences The mother would have to be super ditsy to not mention this when the stepfather moved in. It’s also weird that the stepfather never asked… like “so do you own this place, or are you renting?”
The communication breakdowns presented here make this hard to believe.
