A2-social media can be a fantastic and inspirational place but equally a horrid place which fuels such stereotypes. We need support from providers to restrict such negative or discriminatory content from appearing. #SportsHour

Seeing is believing. The huge growth in girls football in D & G brings so many new adults to appreciate the joy their daughters and granddaughters can get from playing sport. Overcoming long held assumptions they couldn’t or shouldn’t be playing because they’re girls #SportsHour

If you see it you can do it, there is so much more visibility of women and girls sport on broadcast channels, digital and print media…all of which normalises participation for girls and women.
