@straczynski Writing, Mike? Crickey, I’d have you running the whole damn thing.
And as for ‘Brits only’, well, those people (even at the BBC) need to look at Sydney Newman and Ron Grainer (and that’s just foe for starters) for the key contributions ‘non-Brit’s’ have made to the show.
@exitthelemming Oh Sam, I just heard. I am so, so very sorry for your loss. Words don't always help at a time like this, but you and the rest of your family are in my thoughts.
@TeachMrReed I mean, as an observer (and I am from time to time), I'm looking at the kids engagement in the lesson. Sure, we should be modelling 'correct' language, but like you say, connection with the kids is absolutely key. And at times, you should absolutely put that to one side.
@exitthelemming All the best to your father, Sam. I lost my dad earlier this year, and (like most people I guess) I never got to say all the things I should have said to him. Cherish the time you have. Love to all.
@BetamaxPod Never got the run he deserved. Licence to kill is one of the better Bonds. He was Daniel Craig's Bond before we knew we wanted Daniel Craig.
@MichaelRosenYes@thefish64 Studying 'terminology' isn't learning how grammar works in everyday writing. Like knowing the parts of a bike, but being unable to ride one.
@JerryOrdway I think a lot of people think it's easier second (third) time around. Certainly people said that to me.
For me, it was just different. Keep well.
