Informed by new evidence of systematic data fraud at MAPS PBC, we wrote a petition calling for the FDA to schedule an open advisory committee meeting on Lykos’ application for MDMA-assisted therapy that prioritizes contributions from all stakeholders: /1 https://t.co/tLmmo4QFwj
@DEOlsonLab Special shout out to Dr. Chow on his impressive work. His undergrad background was in inorganic chemistry, but took on a challenging total synthesis project solo, and even learned primary cell culture to advance the project.
Hot off the press! New approach to tropane alkaloids with exciting biological properties. Really proud of this work by my colleagues in the @DEOlsonLab. https://t.co/HF2vLVnNHm
Really nice review on phenotypic drug discovery. But even more impressive, "Here, a MANUAL systematic review of about 32,000 articles and patents dating back to 150 years". I can't fathom the time/patience it took, especially going through the patents.

We hope this work will provide some valuable insights for those working on the development of novel #LSD and #psychedelic analogs. After what felt like an eternity of doing cell work and behavior it was fun to get back in the hood and help Dr. Tuck with this cool project.
@amberrebekah @Serotonin2arec @RyanMarino I'll leave it this as your article says it best "Which approach is better?” That’s a difficult question to answer because each philosophy has its own benefits."
@amberrebekah @Serotonin2arec @RyanMarino But based on his post, he is claiming that abstinence as a form of recovery from drug abuse is worse than nothing(i.e white knuckling) which is likely not true. Hence our asking to see this data for clarification.
@amberrebekah @Serotonin2arec @RyanMarino That is an undergrad thesis(not data though an interesting review) on abstinence EDUCATION programs. Maybe Jake and I are misinterpreting what Ryan said. If he is claiming that abstinence education programs are worse than nothing, then this maybe valid.
@Serotonin2arec @RyanMarino It’s sad really. Too often opinion gets confused with truth on here. What’s even worse, is people just assume that what they are reading is true. So much so that they then argue that same point thus further perpetuating a false information.
