I’ve turned my replies to follower only due to the sheer scale of rape and murder threats from far right pro Reform and Restore accounts. Look at my hidden replies/comments. The violence being incited does not stay online. Angry men of any race or culture are a danger to women.
One of the most powerful moments you will see in Parliament this year.
Today, @jessphillips read the names of 107 women killed, or suspected to have been killed, by men over the last year.
Each a reminder as to why violence against women and girls must be tackled as the national emergency it is.
They came from every background, every walk of life. Their names are a stark reminder that, for too long, violence against women and girls has been treated as a fact of life - but we will not accept this.
Our Violence Against Women and Girls strategy, launched in December, is only the beginning. We are committed to acting faster and doing whatever it takes to protect more women and girls from harm.
Trump announced lifting of some oil sanctions on Russia.
The SAME DAY we send OUR soldiers to defend YOUR bases with weapons developed at the cost of Ukrainian lives, you let those who killed them rebuild their cash reserves so they can kill more of us.
FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Your usual reminder that the UCKG is an extraordinarily shady outfit. It is not clear what the money they collect is for or where it goes. They are collecting all over London today. Avoid.
HS2: I've read the official reports and statements so you didn't have to.
Depressing.
A vision for connectivity and levelling up the country has become a national embarrassment, wrecked by incompetence as tens of billions of taxpayers' cash was squandered.

@FaheyJames1 The town itself isn’t worth seeing from what I saw (albeit briefly). Bit tacky with a sort of cable car and ferris wheel, again relatively new. Might be worth seeing recent reviews on the rubbish situation, really did overshadow what I previously thought of as a beautiful place.
@FaheyJames1 I’ve been twice. In 2017 I loved it, did an overnight junk boat and everything about it was amazing. Last year I was there in February and there was so much rubbish in the water everywhere, it ruined it for me. Plus we did a cave tour which felt really crammed and rushed.
Methanol poisoning: Why travellers are at risk, and how to reduce the dangers.
With thanks to the families and friends of victims who are honouring their memories by working to increase awareness of the risks.
"Drink beer, stay clear" is a valuable policy.

@FaheyJames1 Absolutely! The company were called Above Laos and they have lots of amazing local people, pilots and support staff, working for them. Champagne breakfast after landing too, what more could you want!
Rest In Peace, Angie Stone.
A legendary voice of house, soul & disco, gone far too soon.
Her music transcended genres and ALWAYS made people dance.
Our thoughts are with her family & friends.
@nonstopeurotrip Ah that’s good! In 2017 it was really clear when I was there, but last year was a different story and really quite depressing how dirty it all was. Hopefully they’ve done some cleaning up and stricter fines to stop people!
