Proud to have worked with @Leepbarratt & our ED on the direct-to-CT protocol to expedite stroke care @SmhNeuroVasc. Thanks to collaboration from ED nurses like @Carvaja87 & our stroke working group, we have reduced door-to-CT ⏱& are getting patients treated in ⚡️times. 🚑🧠💉
@DrCarolynSnider Thank you for recognizing our important colleagues. Our physiotherapists too are in the ICU and the wards of COVID patients, dressed in isolation gear, helping patients regain lost mobility and function. They too were not recognized. So disappointing
#WeAreReady. Lee Barratt is a Nurse Practitioner in St. Michael’s General Internal Medicine (GIM) and Stroke Units. She has worked in multiple areas throughout the pandemic, including the St. Michael’s Assessment Centre, the ED and now the COVID-19 acute care unit on the GIM.
I’ve had the good fortune of working with Lee for many years, including recently on the COVID-19 ward. She lives @UnityHealthTO’s values of dignity, compassion and excellence every day.

Queen and Victoria. Downtown #toronto. 9am. On behalf of all of us at @UnityHealthTO and my healthcare around the country thank you for doing your part. I promise that we’ll keep doing ours. #PhysicalDistancing#covid19
Empty streets in Canadian cities .. some see desolation or isolation .. @DrCarolynSnider sees potential salvation, during #COVID19 .. her talk today about that & more, with @jenhallcbc on @cbcnews Network (cc @LMBryski) https://t.co/S0tWanDPAb
🚨🚨🚨 Another example of how postal code trumps genetic code in #stroke care. @moirakapral shows that for the 1.5M Ontarians residing in rural communities, only 1 in 2 are within 30 min to CTA imaging & 1 in 3 are within 60 min to an EVT centre. @ICESOntario
