@CTprogressive_@EspaillatNY@ReynosoBrooklyn@nycDSA@DemSocialists Once again, AOC and Zohran have split up their endorsements, with AOC endorsing city council candidates, and Zohran endorsing the congressional slate. AOC deserves some criticism for other races where she didn’t endorse, but this was a planned strategy
@susentharraj@Tim_NBA LeBron may be a better value at 25 mil for this year, but locking up Collins at 20 mil for 3 years is the better long term value. Collins is also a much better at help defense compared to LeBron at this stage of his career, which you need on a Luka-AR team.
@CifarettoStan@PollTracker2024@Weasel9100 I know the argument but this still does not equate to her voting to send money to Israel. She literally voted against the entire bill!
@FxckChelon@angelKat31 Still worth it IMO, what’s the use of the cap space if you’re not going to swing for the fences? If it doesn’t work, there should be some amount of quality free agents left, and if there isn’t, Lakers can trade with teams using their cap space.
@FxckChelon@angelKat31 Who would you feel comfortable signing to a longer contract? For me personally, only Grimes or Ellis. Either way, all these names are closer to the MLE. We should try to poach the biggest free agent on the market, this is the only year they will ever have this much cap space.
@FxckChelon@angelKat31 Name me the other FAs who you would be scared of the Lakers missing out on (keep in mind that we would still have ~$15-20m of cap space even if we offer Kessler a $35m offer sheet)
🚨 Rep. Ro Khanna is the first member of Congress to sign Track AIPAC's PEACE Pledge.
PEACE stands for Pledge to Enforce American Law, Counter Foreign Influence, and End War Crimes.
Rejecting AIPAC money is not enough.
@LABlitz44@pelinkaburner Those were RFAs that didn’t have a lot of interest and were trying to deal with their own teams. If the Lakers were trying to pry Kessler away from the Jazz, Kessler would not hold out to sign the offer sheet.
