@kyleumlang Inactive? Everyone played Randolph Field and the Naval Air Station during the war because that's who was available.
Since the NCAA created the FCS split, Texas hasn't played 1 of them. UNT and SHSU were I-AA for a time, but Texas played them in 2006 and 1992 in that division.
@DaingenKeltoi@maklelan@Chris_Hohnholz It's also just copied from other Ancient Near East codes like Hammurabi, so there's no reason to go to the 16th century to renegotiate what it originally meant.
There's zero reason for a $ fine if the baby came early and "there is no harm."
@Shon_the_Juan@maklelan Then you'd be interpreting it with the minority of Hebrew scholars.
"Children come out" is the miscarriage, with no harm to the woman.
Harm to the woman is deserving of talionic justice.
@AmandaMAtwell@billyliucci Scheduling patsies worked for IU in 2025 and UM in 2023. Tech's problem is they're never going to be adequately prepared for a tough conference slate (because it's nonexistent) or a tough CFP (opponent will always be way out of their league).
@mig_yuri@XtexasgirlX Man it's almost as if we SHOULDN'T aspire to be an authoritarian, theocratic, monolithic state that doesn't have freedom of religion.
The nerve.
@JenniferEValent But it's also the exact thing that gets people to actively participate and support these MAGA-types. They know that external political efficacy has never been a conservative "rallying point," as it runs counter to what they believe. This gets out the vote.
@WilliamT268238@WesleyHuntTX I thought you guys were the states' rights people?
I wonder if there was a region of the nation that we could replace the word "Democrats" with...
@gieblerp@DParkerite1@UHClayborn33 Obviously didn't read the article.
Paxton is a liar, cheat, and fraud, but because those are values that align with MAGA, you all just see him as a means to an end.
@mirandamelendy@NicholasJOlaya@Svengooli@Howlingmutant0 No I mean I went through their curriculum today. On their curriculum website.
Maybe 7th grade includes more of the de la Pena stuff, but that's not exactly "deconstruction" to show a primary source.
