The Management of the @info_NRC , led by the Managing Director, recently received the Legacy Nigerian Railway Museum & Archives Joint Committee on a courtesy visit.

The delegation, dedicated to preserving and projecting the rich history of the Nigerian Railway, engaged in discussions on how to safeguard valuable artifacts and enhance the visibility of the Corporation’s historical heritage.

According to the visitors, the British Library had provided a grant to support the digitisation component of their ongoing project. They also solicited the support of NRC in advancing the project to ensure its success and sustainability.

As part of the visit, the committee presented official documentation to the NRC Management, outlining key strategies and proposals for the preservation of artifacts and the promotion of railway history.

In his remarks, the Managing Director pledged the full support of the NRC Management, assuring the committee that every necessary assistance will be provided to ensure the preservation of the artifacts and the promotion of the Railway’s legacy for future generations.

This collaboration marks another step in reinforcing the Nigerian Railway’s historical identity while fostering public appreciation of its journey through the decades.
