I was in line at Starbucks and I hear a child start screaming excitedly to his mother, “Mom, it’s her, it’s her!”

I turn around expecting to see @JLo or @Beyonce in line, but it was apparently his 1st grade teacher.

To this child, his teacher is a celebrity.🍎❤️🙏

Dear @GovRicketts a year ago our lives as teachers changed like no other. We have been teaching face to face and remote since August. All we ask is for a little boost and light at the end of the tunnel. Please vaccinate teachers sooner than later. Its not to much to ask. Thanks!!

Admin, listen to teachers who challenge the process. Not ones who just complain but those who feel like something isn’t right or needs addressed. Especially now. Teachers are professionals who are highly invested & desire for the best ideas/ methods to be used. They care!

I personally think elementary teachers should be able to wear scrubs if they choose. One reason teachers may not interact and do more physically active learning is they feel restricted by their clothes.
