Yahweh came down into our suffering.
He chose to feel what we feel.
He chose to live what we live.
He chose to take on the form of servant.
He lived a perfect life, fulfilled the law.
He chose to lay down his earthly body for us sinners.
He paid for our sins.
He did all this that a wicked sinner could be with him in paradise.
Praise be to Yahweh, the everlasting God.

This is the God I serve.
This is the redeemer I love.
This is Yahweh.

I thank God for Islam.

Without Islam, I might have believed a man was God.

I might have believed God is three.

I might have believed my Creator was born from a woman He created.

That the One who gives life could be beaten, mocked, crucified, and die.

That the Eternal needed food to survive.

That the Lord of the heavens became thirsty.

That the One who never changes grew as a child.

That the All-Knowing had to ask questions.

That the Self-Sufficient prayed.

That the Almighty was tempted by His own creation.

That the Judge of all mankind stood before human judges.

That the King of kings was abandoned by His own followers.

That the Creator depended on His creation.

I thank God for Islam.

My God is One.

He was never born.

He never dies.

He is never hungry or tired.

He is above His creation, while remaining closer to us than we can imagine.

The classic demand “Show me where Jesus teaches the Trinity or admit you can’t prove it” sets a trap our court systems don’t even use. Cases are built by evidence pieced together to prove something.
Jesus didn’t hand out systematic theology flashcards. He revealed the one God through a baptismal theophany (Father, Son, Spirit), through claims of mutual indwelling with the Father (John 14:9-11), through the promise of “another Advocate” sent in his name (John 14:16-26; 15:26), and through the command to baptize in the singular name of all three (Matt 28:19).
