This is a big month for @Ronin_Network.

• @Moku_HQ @fableborne @FishingFrenzyCo @playcambria all shipping and demonstrating that we have the best lineup of entertaining content on any chain. I would only be truly worried if I was consistently using other chains to use fun/novel apps. The only other thing I've used recently on any other chain is @playgigaverse so huge props to the team there.
• SM leadership meeting IRL to plan out the next year. Working on a year-end recap to give a glimpse into our thinking here.
• There are 2 aspects to a chain. The content/products and the token. You're starting to see our execution of a unified stack between the arcade/wallet/market/spin to create a better onboarding and retentive experience for users that in turn, boosts the best experiences on the chain. However, the tokens are also products. As mentioned before, we're looking at executing some quick + simple wins that will reduce RON inflation and better align incentives over the long run.

Crypto is once again at a crossroads. I'm confident that we will all rise to the moment.

and this update completely changes how progression works in the game. Here’s a clear, complete, and well-connected breakdown of everything that’s new:

Key points:

🔹 New zone: The Cavern
🔹 Updated Diving with $FISH and xFISH support
🔹 Revamped Workshop (upgrade system)
🔹 New Karma system (Proof of Contribution)
🔹 Karma Pass purchasable with $FISH / xFISH
🔹 Updated Daily Quests + Spin requiring in-game Karma
🔹 Leaderboards updated with xFISH rewards
🔹 Fully integrated economy

🗺️Reorganized Map + Travel Button
The map was redesigned from scratch to better organize the game’s main areas:
🔹Aquarium
🔹Restaurant
🔹Workshop
🔹Diving
🔹Cavern
With the new Travel Button, moving between zones is much faster and no longer requires going back to the main menu.

🌌 New Zone: The Cavern
Starting at level 80, players unlock The Cavern, a brand-new biome focused on collecting fossils, the core resource of Chapter 2.
These fossils are used to unlock exclusive fish and shinies, making this zone essential for progression.

🌊Updated Diving: now supports $FISH and xFISH
Diving can now be paid with:
🔹Gold
🔹$RON
🔹$FISH
🔹xFISH
The 10x mode is still available, multiplying both the cost and the rewards.

⚒️ Revamped Workshop
The Workshop has been reorganized and now serves as the central hub for all upgrades.
The interface is clearer, the stations are better arranged, and the upgrade process is smoother overall.

🧭 New Karma System (Proof of Contribution)
Fishing Frenzy now tracks your contribution both in-game and off-game through the Karma system, which is used to:
🔹Unlock rewards
🔹Access Chapter 2 benefits
🔹Enter the Prestige Leaderboards
Players who had enough Karma received a special NFT Rod designed to collect fossils inside the Cavern.

📘 Karma Pass now purchasable with $FISH
The seasonal pass is fully integrated into the new economy and can now be bought with:
🔹10000 $FISH
🔹10000 xFISH
It unlocks premium rewards connected to the Karma system.

📅 Updated Daily Quests
Daily tasks now grant Quest Points in addition to Gold, and they are crucial because the Spin now requires in-game Karma.
This means daily quests become a core part of Chapter 2 progression.
New tasks include:
🔹Catch 10 fish
🔹Spend 1000 Gold
🔹Spend 5000 Gold
🔹Bring 10 fish to the Aquarium
🔹Cook 10 times
🔹Do one Dive
🔹Verify your wallet
🔹Repair a rod
🔹Use a bait
🔹Sell 10 fish
Each quest gives Gold + PTS to advance through the Karma Pass.

🏆 Leaderboards with New Rewards
The leaderboards are now split into three categories:
🔹Fishing
🔹Cooking
🔹Collection
However, only Fishing and Cooking reward xFISH, and only under the following condition:
You must be in the Angler rank to receive xFISH.
The Collection leaderboard does not reward xFISH.
Additionally, you need at least 200000 Karma to appear on any leaderboard.

💠 Fully Integrated Economy: $FISH and xFISH Live
Chapter 2 connects the entire in-game economy:
🔹Claim
🔹Stake
🔹Pay for activities
🔹Progress through the pass
🔹Diving
🔹Leaderboards
Everything ties directly into $FISH and xFISH, making them part of nearly all major systems.

📌 In summary:
Chapter 2 brings a reorganized map, a new permanent zone, Diving with FISH, a revamped Workshop, a full Karma system, a pass purchased with FISH, updated quests, and leaderboards for Fishing, Cooking, and Collection, where only Angler-rank players receive xFISH.
This is the biggest and most complete update Fishing Frenzy has released so far

So Renown (veNFTScore) turns your NFT into a kind of Proof of Conviction asset. The longer you hold and use it, the more powerful it gets, and if you sell it, the score resets to zero.
