The IISS Stockholm Civil Defence Forum, scheduled for April 2026, will bring together political, military and industrial leaders to engage in discussions on how to tackle current challenges to modern civil defence.
The creation of this forum was announced by Johan Berggren, the State Secretary at the Swedish Ministry of Defence in remarks at the inaugural Global Security and Innovation Summit in Hamburg. IISS is a co-partner in organising this event.
