@elonmusk@Tesla Interesting that “Lithium Refining” is in your concept web but “Lithium Mining” and “Cobalt Mining” are not. I would love to believe in Tesla’s master plan but nothing that relies on human rights abuses is sustainable. We cannot go on like this forever. There must be a reckoning.
America's heart is alive and well, my friends! Yes, the internet has its share of mean-spirited trolls—but it also shines a light on the overwhelming goodness of everyday Americans.
@RealMarkDEddy@thatsKAIZEN@charliekirk11 I agree that looks like a dude who has never really been challenged. He does not represent all black people though. I live in a working-class mostly-black neighborhood. This community is still strong and producing awesome people. Most aren’t buying this type of bullshit.
@BN_OTAKU@thatsKAIZEN Kings can rule by fiat. They can simply say what the law is. It seems many people want that. I, for one, do not. But I think OP is correct that many Americans do seem to want that.
If you haven't heard it yet, take the next 3 minutes and 37 seconds to treat yourself to Hard Livin', the latest single from my good friends, The Gasoline Gypsies. I think this is their best release yet, but I might just be biased because of that tasty violin work in there ;)
It was a real pleasure working on this with you, guys. This record is definitely one of my proudest accomplishments. Thank you for including me!
"Hard Livin' is about getting caught in the grind of work life. This is a song for the hardworking folks—the ones who show up, put in the effort, and get it done. Find it on all streaming platforms."

@thatsKAIZEN I think the detainees should be given the opportunity to argue their innocence in court prior to deportation so as to avoid sending innocent men to a Salvadoran prison. I pretty much agree with what you are saying and I appreciate your explanation of the nuances of it.
@ArtemisConsort Way before that. 16th Amendment was ratified in 1913. That was a massive deviation which enabled further degradation of Liberty. Even that wasn’t the beginning of this disaster. Major point of inflection though.
@ArtemisConsort Interesting point. Has liberalism even been a choice in the last 100+ years though? Seems like our politics is more of a “choose your own fascist adventure” story.
@ArtemisConsort All 5 are reasonable answers, but in my opinion, B is the one that is most meaningfully different from the others. And it is “odd” in multiple ways. So I’d say B is by far the best answer.
It’s interesting seeing the strong opinions behind the other answers. Explains a lot.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

@thatsKAIZEN I agree. But Bill Burr is a comedian - and a damned funny one at that - not a thought leader. I suppose it is possible to be both. I don’t think that is Burr’s role though. I don’t see him that way, and I don’t think he sees himself that way. He just wants to make people laugh.
@romi_botez@RepMikeCollins Marginal tax rates mean you only pay that percentage on income above the threshold. For example, if a person had a salary of $200k, he would only pay $17,500 in taxes. That’s 35% of the taxable $50k. So he would take home $182,500. That make sense?
