On new meds that have been working pretty well. No new hallucinations or extreme mood swings at least. Got gabapentin for anxiety now and that seems to be working wonders. All in all we're doing better I'd say. ^_^ -Fennic
Haven't updated in a bit. We're well (maybe not today specif, but besides that). A lotta fusions have happened behind the scenes for the system, and communication is improving a ton. Fiance and I broke up, but we're still friends. Figuring out living situations is difficult tho.
So I've made a dissociation playlist, something I play to help me through and out of an episode. It's mostly filled with femtanyl and other breakcore like songs. Play at a loud volume and hope for the best. It basically helps disrupt the dream for me, drag me back to reality.
CW suicidal ideation ment.
Thinking about my psych saying in a session that my mood swings were extreme despite me thinking nothing of them because they felt so normal. Extreme to me is going from wanting to die to believing I'm God. Idk. Just came to my mind is all..
The Finch app has definitely saved our butts alot lately. Checking to see what goals we've done and not done helps to keep up with the day, as well as not accidentally forgetting something important like meds--or not taking them twice in a morning, etc.
Case worker is gonna set me up with a thing called pro line curbside, that'll pick me up like a bus from my home and transport me wherever I wanna go. I..I'll be able to go places! Whenever I want to! I'm so psyched!
@MementoMousie Notably we're not going for final fusion anyways. Just not in our interests. But it is interesting to experience the fusions we have had.
@MementoMousie Were nowhere near a final fusion, but there have been a few. I'm a fusion of 4+ alters, and my experience is that they're still there, I am all of them and just one. There's just no amnesia when I'm more like one or the other. Idk if that's what is normal tho.
@balleriko_ You realize not all SA survivors cope and react in the same way, right? I felt seen af. Generalizing us all because YOU didn't feel seen is counterproductive rather than helpful.
@JamirTheSLoth@HeartFlaw Considering every lolicon a pedophile would take away so much put in place to catch actual pedophiles. Officers are just asking people to not send Loli art as evidence of a pedophile because it's taking up what could be precious time and eveidence to help real life children.
Not have to experience that directly. Of course I am. But honestly, and I hope I speak for others as well in saying going into episodes over uncensored gore is not doing any good for anything. I hope I don't get hate for this.. I don't have the spoons to argue rn.
@charliexcrawley@notafedserious Triggering people, esp people with PTSD and other mental health issues, isnt going to help anything. Uncomfortable is one thing, going into a full mental health spiral is another. Not flagging isgonna make people want to mute what's going going on, and that won't help at all.
@muunjeeddii @notafedserious They're not saying don't post it, they're saying flag it. There are many people triggered by this stuff, and sending them into a mental health spiral is gonna make them want to mute what's going on.
Thinking again about the kid at the psych ward I was in mid February whose eyes lit up when I mentioned Shintoism and excitedly info dumped to me. He stuck at my side the rest of the time I was there cause I was willing to listen him talk about it. I hope he's doing alright now.
@thethrees_exist My guess is that it's cause then they'd be wrong, and some people just cannot accept that, even when the evidence is clear and up front.
