@SBuckEnglish The kids are in a thoroughly different mindset and some will have already started losing their short term memories of concepts/topics. It would be harsh to ask them to switch on to something they’re trying really hard to get over.

The UK send kids to school much earlier than other European (and other?) countries. They’re already ‘ahead’ and yet those other countries have better education stats. Give the kids a break for a term- it won’t hurt. 🌈 🏫 👩🏼‍🏫❤️
