@MatthewChernov@am_cinematheque@TimGrierson What’s funny is a lot of the scenes looked fairly vibrant while others had almost no color information at all. For example the first half of the rollerskating scene was pretty bright and colorful and then all of a sudden it started looking like a Buster Keaton movie.
Call me naive but I find it very hard to believe that the Democrats hate Karen Bass so much that they’re orchestrating an elaborate conspiracy to rig the race for Raman.
@DavidPoland That’s why I always go for the back row at UC. I like it because it reminds me of the old Mitsubishi IMAX theater in DTLA where I first experienced the format
For IMAX digital/3D in 1.90 I prefer the Chinese or even the Burbank 16, but IMAX 70 mm is a rare and special treat.
@boston_drives@TheRealJosh05@Tesla@elonmusk This one should fit your car but unfortunately it’s not color matched, although the upside is the black version does reflect a lot more heat. You can probably find a discount code if you look around.

Dug a bunch of my old CDs out of the closet to try to get into the physical media renaissance and somehow this ancient thing from my youth sounds better to my ears than any of the so-called modern portable players I’ve tried.
@CalebWarri8fq9@Zigmanfreud Pratt’s margin is almost certain to shrink as the later votes come in, and there is a real outside possibility of Raman narrowly edging him out to advance.
@Zigmanfreud@CalebWarri8fq9 Just doing some back of the envelope math: Raman would need to beat Pratt by ~15% of the remaining votes to come in second, and there’s maybe a ~10% chance of that happening, so the odds are more or less priced correctly.
@SaveYourCinema Once upon a time this location used to be AMC until Pacific opened the Paseo 14 down the street, which later became an Arclight, and is now currently a Regal.
It would make a good Alamo Drafthouse location if that company wasn’t in such disarray.
