@ofviceandsin@JFiggls78702@Asendrys@TrueSlazac We were the first to have a 3 bar tricolor flag. France and Russia copued it and changed the order a bit to differentiate. Other countries followed
@ofviceandsin@Asendrys@TrueSlazac Orange is our national colour. Our king is called Willem van Oranje = William of Orange. Orange is the name of the royal family, so it has become part of our national identity. Like, these are pics of king's day 🤭
Putting it in the flag is the only time it symbolises bad things.
@ofviceandsin@Asendrys@TrueSlazac These people want the NL to go back to the VOC "glory days", when we were one of the biggest colonial empires, inventing & globalising the stock market. That's not a flag to be proud of.
@ofviceandsin@Asendrys@TrueSlazac It was already used by the NSB (dutch nazi's in the time of Hitler) in the 20th century.
The meaning of that flag is extremely nationalism. It also hasn't been our flag for 400 years.
We don't want orange in our flag.
@eduardo_mo22093@LittleLeinaa@BriannaWu It's not antisemetic to point out Israel bombarded a whole country into oblivion.
Israel isn't even exclusively Jewish. If they hated on Israel, that isn't antisemitic either.
Hating all Jews, just for being Jews, is antisemitic. That is not what's happening here.
@Asendrys@TrueSlazac The prinsenvlag (the one with orange) is now being used by far right extreme nationalists, it now represents those nazı's.
We do not want to be associated with them, so we're keeping the red. (Imo, the red looks better too. Orange is the state colour, red/white/blue is the flag)
queer people who have already read it might not be the target audience of that video but seeing straight people genuinely support queer works and potentially expose more people to read lesbian books is a great thing for everyone
Good job, you know BASIC biology. Now learn ADVANCED biology and watch how quickly your argument falls apart.
Youre offended by transgender people existing because youre uneducated
It’s so sad how Atreus was certain that he heard Faye in Alfheim back in God of War (2018) and Kratos was scolding him and insisting that “she’s gone,” and now it’s vice versa in Ragnarök. Kratos is the one hearing something, while Atreus is telling him that she’s gone.
It’s gonna be so incredibly sad to see it from Faye’s perspective. After all, she never got the chance to say goodbye… 😢
