@Grimedark@spaceshark23@Montius13 That's sound logic.
For reference here's the same model kit I'm sculpting now, lined up beside a Terminator analogue from Diverging Realms and a Guardsman analogue from Makers cult. It's a 25mm base on the bottom, of course.
For my tabletop gaming homies:
What's the consensus these days on "Heroic Scale" miniatures?
I recall this being a bitter back and forth on how models should be proportioned.
Does this matter anymore, or have we come around to "as long is it looks cool"?
@emperor_kane@Walrusaurelius@HMBohemond I think it's less the players that were inherently toxic and more so the way PP structured the game itself. Page 5 is a prime example of how they encouraged a hyper-competitive, meta chasing community.
@modelgeneer@Walrusaurelius@HMBohemond Long story short, every faction and model was effectively rewritten to follow their factions "gimmick". And sub factions were effectively nuked.
With Menoth, for example, there was no longer a diversity of builds (knights/zealots) for your army, they were just "the fire guys".
@Walrusaurelius@HMBohemond 3rd edition was a pain for sure. Especially when everyone was calling for a 2.5 or a simple FAQ.
Every faction got flanderized to hell and back.
I still have most of my Menoth models
@VDAREJamesK Fist successors are the witness protection relocation service for traitor legion gene seed.
People have the gall to look me in the eye and say the Exorcists aren't Lorgar's kids or the Hammers of Dorn aren't a grab bag of Iron Warriors and Death Guard.
After several hiccups and some bumps on the learning curve, I got the first infantry kit sculpted, sliced, printed and painted up for one of my friends.
