Since Abiy Ahmed came to power, Ethiopia has endured devastating genocidal war on Amhara, renewed fighting in Tigray and Afar, rising tensions with Eritrea and Somalia, and spillover from the conflict in Sudan. The conflict is now intensifying across multiple regions, including Afar, Tigray and Amhara.

A policy of denial and unconditional support for Abiy Ahmed’s Oromuma Prosperity Gospel regime cannot bring peace. If peace is truly the goal, the policies and leadership driving this cycle of conflict must be confronted.
