After the final whistle we caught up with @CockfostersFC boss @gavin_kelsey who gave us his thoughts on the game, the season as a whole and his plans for the coming weeks. Thanks Gavin #nonleaguefinalsday
@CockfostersFC I felt very proud to be at Wembley watching Cockfosters today. The team gave everything they could. Congratulations to all at the club on an amazing season, an inspiration and example of all that is best about grassroots football.
Watching my local team @CockfostersFC play at Wembley today was just surreal. 🐓🏟️
Sometimes football can be so cruel, especially to lose on penalties after dominating the match. The players & coaching staff should be extremely proud, regardless of the outcome. #FAVaseFinal
The digital signage for the next @CockfostersFC game on Sunday was up and running at Wembley Stadium this morning telling fans where to meet and which pubs had been allocated to them. Amazing to see the Cockfosters name up there.
World In Action - Seven Up! (directed by Paul Almond) aired on this day in 1964. The original plan was to revisit the children in the year 2000, but in 1970 Michael Apted was curious about how they were coping as teenagers, so the idea of a new documentary every 7 years was born.
30 April 1969. Last episode of the paranormal ITV series The Champions was broadcast. It featured 3 telepathic agents: Craig Stirling (Stuart Damon), Sharron Macready (Alexandra Bastedo) and Richard Barrett (William Gaunt). There had been 30 episodes.
So wonderful the Tramway Museum at Crich, Derbyshire is still going strong. I have many happy childhood memories of visits in the 1970s. And since then trams have made a fantastic comeback in many cities.

Today we have fulfilled our promise to return to the @PremierLeague.
We do so with ambition, with unity, and with a clear vision for the future.
WE ARE BACK. 🏁
Starting to sink in - what a day Saturday was!
Massive thanks to the away support shown, pockets of 🔵&⚪️ all around the ground.
Felt the players were excellent on the day & carried out the instructions asked to take us to Wembley!
Few people watching over us for sure 🕊️
After a lengthy search for today's @NonLeaguePaper, the main headline is just surreal and a thoroughly enjoyable read of the match report.
A piece of history to treasure, as @CockfostersFC booked a trip to Wembley Stadium after a club record-breaking run in the #FAVase. 🐓
Fantastic result for @CockfostersFC today getting through to the final of the FA Vase at Wembley. Congratulations to the entire team and management. A privilege to be there to see and share a fantastic day.
