@HenricCont @robprogressive Sweden has a property tax, you pay tax yearly based on value of your house. Like a mansion tax but for all houses (not on flats). All savings interest is taxed, no allowance like UK. There is no CGT exemption on your main home, full CGT on sale of home.

@mikecosgrove Take a look at Wales, not only are boomers moving in and young people moving out because of lack of well paid jobs. The jobs that are reasonably well paid require you to speak Welsh which further exacerbates the brain drain as so few people are fluent

@paul_warrand @mrtabrett @mikecosgrove I’m also not following why I’ve not made any money owning BTL property since 2008 because when I look at the income I’ve had and what the properties are worth it’s been both a good yearly income and I can sell them for a lot more than I paid for them…

@drlouisenewson Does this study take into account and differentiate between women who are taking AI meds or Tamoxifen? It doesn’t mention anything about it, but I have read numerous studies that say Tamoxifen+vaginal oestrogen is ok, AI meds+vaginal oestrogen is risky. Would be useful to know.

@YesAbertawe @YesCymru Malta is quite possibly racing ahead, but presumably due to income from tourism. Malta is one big construction site, hotels and holiday apartments going up everywhere. So is that what Wales wants? I’m quite confused now.
