In collaboration with Tony Holler and @pntrack, we are excited to announce that the 2026 Class 1A “Feed the Cats” Speed Showcase & True Team Championship is coming to Lena-Winslow on April 18th, 2026!

🐾 Built for fast cats, big cats, and distance cats
🏆 "True Team" scoring to determine best TEAM

We caught lightning in a bottle with this kid and he led our small school to 3 NUIC Conference Championships and our only 3 IHSA Sectional Championships in school history. He was our leader, our heart, and our soul. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, SCHLICHTO 🤝 You were perfect, young man. #Blessed

Alec Schlichting finishes his career at Le-Win with a Top 5 finish in the 200m Dash, leading us to 11th place as a team at State! This young man is a class act and a warrior on the track. We will never see another 15-time State Qualifier nor more decorated medalist at Le-Win 🔥

In what they called the fastest 100m Dash in Class 1A history, Alec Schlichting takes the bronze medal in a generational race! Schlichto would have placed 2nd in 2A and 5th in 3A. The fastest young man to ever walk the halls at Lena-Winslow. We are proud of you @SchlichtingAlec #GOAT
