@SoVeryBritish In a hotel lift in San Diego 20 odd years ago, I was on my way to the roof top bar. The lift stopped and two ladies embarked asking "Are you going to the bar?" I replied "Yes. I'll race you there!". It almost cost me my job, as my boss was also in the lift and was mortified!

@RevRichardColes While waiting at Stoke Mandeville Hospital earlier this week (we arrived early and were seen on time!) I read on the Carbs and Calories poster that 1 pint of stout contains 172kCal and 1 pint of orange juice 205kCal. My choices are now backed with medical advice!!
