[Sam Robinson @samueljrob]

Let's bet on the 'come' and forget what happened in the playoffs. By the way, there is no guarantee that he will get better.

[Nick Brandel @MotorCityBanter]

Carmelo Anthony on the Jalen Duren situation:

“If I’m Detroit, I’m paying him. He’s 22 years old. We just came off a 60 win season. Regardless of what happened in the playoffs, I’m 22. I’m gonna get better. I have to get better.”

[Camus @newstart_2024]

Kids with married parents: about 8% in poverty. Kids with a single mother: more than 25%. That gap is the argument.

Perry says some feminism tried to swap the husband for the state - daycare, checks, a backup adult in an office. The state can send money. It cannot be the other person at 3 a.m. Women want their children and real support. Men fail that job often. Communes and fully socialized families failed worse. On the record we have, monogamous marriage still has the fewest costs.

Those numbers are not a vibe. They are why the old arrangement still deserves a serious look.

It is very difficult to teach students if you do not love them.

[Daniel Buck, “Youngest Old Man in Ed Reform” @MrDanielBuck]

It’s a teachers job to teach students, not love them

Very weird “I’m your mommy now” vibes

Why are more taxes better for society?

[Malachi Barrett @PolarBarrett]

A Detroit entertainment tax could create enough revenue to cover a property tax cut of 1.7 to 5.7 mills

[Leon Bryson @LeonBryson1]

Why do you want more taxes? Manage the money you already collect!

[Malachi Barrett @PolarBarrett]

A Detroit ticket tax could generate $14 million to $47 million according to a new report.

Admissions tax revenue also help Detroit to lower its property tax by as much as 5.7 mills

[nogps @nogps1]

Instead of protecting the people.. why are we poisoning the people?

Whistleblower @KristenMeghan asked that question

Kristen worked for the US Airforce as an environmental specialist, while there, she witnessed what was happening with the toxic materials used in geoengineering!

[Charles Murray @charlesmurray]

I would think that the minimum age for getting this joke is around 80.

[Concerned Citizen @BGatesIsaPyscho]

This actually happened….

[Vincent Gircys @VGircys]

What happens when people figure our Nova Scotia just lifted a ban on Uranium Mining a few months ago. The Uranium lies under the forest in question and is undergoing an exploratory process.
When major pay increases and profits motivate people,
I suspect It's not about the forests or those who walk in them any longer.

My Momma put her cable bill in my name 😭

Why should 7-year old kids be forced to sit in a classroom for 7 hours? Why are they being "punished"?

[Frank Gilbert @PFGilbert]

@C_Hendrick If kids at age 7, or 2nd grade, are unable to sit in a classroom without being disruptive they need help outside the classroom. We need to set clear expectations and offer alternative paths for those kids who need more time or special help with managing themselves.

More taxes are not the answer.

[Dom Lucre | Breaker of Narratives @dom_lucre]

🔥🚨BREAKING NEWS: Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson has sent out a warning to Americans that Chicago finances are “at the point of no return” if he doesn’t get a massive tax hikes to replace dwindling revenue.

Like with anything else, some roundabouts are safe and some are not.

[John Stossel @JohnStossel]

Roundabouts are safer. They save lives. They cost less! They pollute less.

Former Carmel, Indiana mayor @JimBrainard replaced nearly every stoplight in his town with them. It was a success:

NEVER FORGET:

The day after the US Department of Justice announced an investigation into 60 hedge funds for manipulative short selling, the TD Ameritrade Warehouse storage facility went up in flames 🔥👀

Non-Detroiters are paying for the mayoral race. People who can't vote are donating far more than residents.

The top 3 candidates raised $526,560 from Detroit addresses and $1.5 million from non-residents.
