Figure 6 shows that while the top 10% earners have around 3x the emissions footprint of the middle 40%, the middle 40% still accounts for a larger total share of emissions. While unequal, it is wrong to say that only the top 10% need to lower emissions

And to that point, the data you are commenting on is not “mean”, so unless CEOs make up 51% of the population, they are not skewing the median. Median is the exact middle value.
