@HunterTenney1 I agree! It was very interesting to learn about how each oof our neighborhoods differ and certain behaviors that take place within a neighborhood. #SOWK35021
@maryssa_kemm I am so glad we were introduced to this as well because I had not known all of the information that we could access that can very well help us in our profession. #SOWK35021
A big idea from this class was understanding human behavior within groups, communities & organizations. I think that cognitive behavior is an important theory to be used throughout social work as it is the use of therapeutic techniques to change thoughts & behaviors. #SOWK35021
@KileyMcCoy47 I agree, this resource is incredibly helpful. This gives us as social workers no excuse to be unable to provide resources as this points us in the right direction. #SOWK35021
@agottshall1 This was really interesting to learn about as we have never been taught this before. This gives us a wide range of knowledge that can be used to successfully understand the demographics of the selected population. #SOWK35021
One thing I had learned this week was the concept of conflict coaching. This is something I can definitely use as a social worker as it supports the ability to engage in, manage or productively resolve conflict. This coaching can be used in the workplace as well. #SOWK35021
@anna_finch20 I am very glad that you chose to discuss this topic because I feel as if it is not often spoken about. Everyone deserves the opportunity to work and receive healthcare. Thank you for sharing! #SOWK35021
@KileyMcCoy47 I agree that this global issue is not as publicized as it should be. I am glad that this post is providing awareness regarding human trafficking. Thank you for sharing! #SOWK35021
This tweet supports the dignity and worth of an individual as it explains access to justice is a human right and should not have barriers. This NASW Code of Ethics would support this post as it emphasizes its key standards. #SOWK35021
Access to justice is a human right and should have no barriers! As a result of cooperation between @UNDP_Kosovo & @UNMIKosovo Pristina’s basic court has increased translation & interpretation capacities to ensure access to justice 4 all #UNSDCF#SDG16
@abbi_sowk350 I would describe my neighborhood similarly however it was pretty organized. It was very convenient as everything was very close. When I think of a neighborhood my mind first thinks of my neighborhood at home. #SOWK35021
The neighborhood I grew up in was a good & safe area. I felt that my neighborhood was a place that allowed people to assert their social status. Though my parents did not interact with there neighbors often, the neighbors would compare additions done to their home. #SOWK35021
@agottshall1 This was a great thing to add to your list. It offers a ton of facts as well as beneficial information about how to take care of your mental health. I will add this list! #SOWK35021

I chose to look into this topic because I believe it presents great tips on safety exit plans as well as how to determine a perpetrator in the workplace. #SOWK35021
@maryssa_kemm I will be adding this to my list as someone very close to me experienced an eating disorder. I believe this issue needs to be understood by more people. #SOWK35021
@MadisonVitale2 These infographics contained a lot of information! I think it is very important that they give statistics in relation to these substances being misused. These infographics are beneficial in the sense that we can be introduced to what we will be seeing with our clients. #SOWK35021
@brigettesowk350 I never really knew how age was a major risk factor. I did not consider that teenagers are more at risk than older individuals because of brain development. #SOWK35021
This infographic relates to macro HBSE issues because it shows individuals, veterans to be specific, & how militant institutions have been in direct correlation to substance use disorders. After viewing, I learned that 1 in 4 veteran treatment admissions were homeless. #SOWK35021
@agottshall1 It's really important for a leader to implement consensus decision making. If I were a leader, I wouldn't like to have any of my members believe that their opinions & thoughts do not matter to the group. The last thing I would want is for them to feel like an outcast. #SOWK35021
@maryssa_kemm I really like how you mentioned a good leader must separate their own needs from the group. I think that by doing this it shows the group is not just about the leader. Often, we misconceptualize the meaning of a leader when they can have positive benefits to the group. #SOWK35021
