@ShaiDavidai@HereIAmWithShai Do you think students on campus (or anyone) can protest the war in Gaza and against the loss of innocent civilian life in Gaza without being antisemitic?
Earlier today, the Chairman of the U.S. House Education and Workforce Committee (@EdWorkforceCmte) called out @Columbia for failing to protect its Jewish students, faculty, and staff.
If you’re just hearing about this now, understand one thing: this didn’t come out of nowhere.
For 16 months, I’ve been demanding Columbia take action. They ignored me.
Since October 7, I have sent countless emails to Columbia’s leadership, including:
- Minouche Shafik – Former President
- Gerry Rosberg – Former Senior Executive Vice President
- Felice Rosan – General Counsel
- Cas Holloway – Chief Operating Officer
- Costis Maglaras – Dean, Columbia Business School
- Melissa Beg – Dean, Columbia School of Social Work
- Katie Conway – Vice Dean & Chief Operating Officer, Columbia Business School
- Gerald Lewis Jr. – Vice President of Public Safety
99% of the time, they didn’t even bother to respond.
Below is a list of 19 emails I sent Columbia’s leadership since October 7, 2023.
Not one of them received a response.

Columbia’s administration must be held accountable.
This isn’t some faceless institution.
These are real people—people who either can’t properly handle the hatred of Jews and Israelis on campus, don’t care enough to try, or both.
People need to know.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have spoken out against 10/7 because he understood that there is nothing morally neutral about silence. Silence is not amoral but immoral. It is a form of complicity.
Dr. King once said: “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.”

Today, I ask for your help. My sister, Silvia Nayssa Arce Aviles and my brother in law, Alberto Sanchez, were kidnapped by armed civilians in Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico.
HELP us locate them and bring them back to safety.
@DegenFarmer@AHS_Warranty After 6+ wks of no A/C during high heat & humidity, we now have mold growing and an ant problem. Not to mention poor sleep and lost work, time & sanity.
@DegenFarmer@AHS_Warranty I can relate! Broken A/C since July 17th during 2 heatwaves 100+ in the shade. AHS Contractor has been lying to us for wks, making excuses, says he’s coming then doesn’t show, day after day while we wait in our hot house missing work. AHS will not reassign to new contractor.
