The Jews and Palestinians came from the ancient Canaanites, who extensively mixed with Egyptians, Mesopotamian, and Anatolian peoples in ancient times. Thus, Palestinian-Jewish rivalry is based in cultural and religious, but not in genetic, differences.

Israel is literally named after the Israelites who occupied Israel since 135BC was not until 5BC when first recorded Palestinians occupied Syria.

Technically they are all the same people just different beliefs that have caused a division.

In either case from a religious standpoint both parties presume to "know more" or "know better" than God?

If they did trust God and actually believed in God, they would trust God's will and not try to dictate it on behalf of him? If each faction trusted in God's choice to have diversity between thier people then this war and death of innocents would not be happening?

There should never be absolutism when innocent people are being killed over thier personal religious ideologies, ego, and the inability to be humane on ether side, in my opinion?
