Kumasagi Book 5 is almost complete! Soon it will enter the editing and production phases. If all goes well, it will release later this year.
Here is the title page illustration that I drew for Book 5, and the color variant included at the end of Book 4 (as a teaser for Book 5).
Video: Epic Universe on its first anniversary. However, as if the concept model came to life!
This a version of the "tilt shift" camera effect where scenes look like stop-motion animation/toys. Made with After Effects last couple of weeks. Standard camera methods, no AI used.
It is AI. Iβve gotten at least ten of these, all from a different βpersonβ but with the same general format, including the tell-tale βit wasnβt just [fill in the blank], it was [fill in the blank]β sentence structure, usually in the second paragraph.
Anyway, other author friends reported getting the same. Not sure why there is no pitch. I guess the intention is to hook you into responding. π€·ββοΈ
I'm excited to return to GMHS Comic Con this Saturday, May 30, 10am - 4pm!
If you're in southern Maryland, do check out this fun con hosted by Great Mills High School, with artists, crafters, cosplay and more. I'll have Kumasagi books 1-4 available! π
I recently found two typos (including a comma that should probably be a period) on page 150 of my 1976 edition of Dragonflight, an edition I've read a million times, and yet I only now noticed the typos. π

Here is my review for Kodiak 7: Silent Snare by prolific author @WaterhouseBooks:
------
Silent Snare is a great addition to the Kodiak space-sci-fi novella series. This episode combines action and tense intrigue with tangible, heart-aching repercussions for the characters we've come to know in the previous books.
As with all Kodiak episodes, this was a quick and entertaining story with welcome undertones of deeper meaning. Each novella packs a punch for such a short read.

Received a lovely message today from a fella who read and enjoyed The Eye Of The Universe! Always love it when someone reaches out.
He was imagining that Ziggy sounded like Stephen Hawking π
The EDSV Kodiak returns in *Kodiak 7: Silent Snare*, now available in ebook and paperback!
